Because Madagascar was separated from mainland Africa almost 90 million years ago, a staggering 90% of the country’s wildlife and plant life is endemic. And we aim to show you as much of it as possible. Have you heard of the dancing sifaka lemur, for example? We will introduce you to this incredible creature and its gorgeous balletic moves! And apart from the 113 (yes 113!) species of lemur to be found, Madagascar is also home to 300 species of bird life and 66% of the world’s chameleon species, including the smallest yet discovered.
